Prepared by CRWD for Tru Fru

One Campaign.
Two Ways to Sell Out.

CRWD brings local creators to Tru Fru's sampling teams for one-day pop-ups to sample, buy and post, while activating thousands of verified shoppers to drive sell-through in every other priority market. Both at the same time.

The opportunity

Every door is a chance to prove velocity.

Tru Fru is in thousands of doors across Target, Walmart, Whole Foods, Publix, H-E-B, Wegmans, Kroger and Albertsons, including a branded freezer door at every Target nationwide. This campaign turns that footprint into big local moments where your sampling teams are, plus measurable sell-through everywhere else, with store-level data to take to buyers heading into Mother's Day and 2027.

Campaign overview

One campaign. Two activations.

Activation 1: Regional Jeep Pop-Ups

One-day Jeep pop-ups in the top 15 major U.S. markets with Tru Fru's sampling teams. CRWD brings local creators to each host store to sample, buy and post, turning every pop-up into social content.

Running simultaneously

Activation 2: Retail Sell-Through Program

Across non-major markets nationwide, CRWD activates verified local shoppers to buy Tru Fru in-store, store by store, driving steady weekly velocity across hundreds of doors.

Activation 1

Activation 1: Major Market Jeep Pop-Ups.

  1. Step 1

    Pick the stores

Tru Fru and CRWD pick a host store in each pop-up city, with extra inventory brought in.

  2. Step 2

    Bring the creators

CRWD sends about 20 selected local creators to each pop-up.

  3. Step 3

    Sample and buy

Your sampling team runs the Jeep experience while creators sample, purchase and capture content.

  4. Step 4

    Amplify

Creators post content from the event and verified buyers leave reviews.

Held in the top 15 U.S. markets, with about 20 creators per pop-up.

Activation 2

Activation 2: Non-Major Market Sell-Through.

Reaches the secondary and smaller markets where the Jeeps don't go, so every region gets sell-through support.

  1. Step 1

    Target

CRWD's AI agent texts verified local shoppers with an assigned store near them.

  2. Step 2

    Shop

Each shopper buys a set number of Tru Fru bags from the freezer.

  3. Step 3

    Verify

Shoppers upload a receipt and shelf photo. CRWD verifies every purchase.

  4. Step 4

    Amplify

Selected shoppers post reviews and short UGC videos.

Why 12-18 bags per store

Real volume, no empty freezers

We move meaningful units without causing out-of-stocks.

Spread across hero SKUs

Purchases split across 2-3 SKUs per store, such as Strawberries in Milk & White Chocolate, Cherry Truffles, and Freeze Dried Strawberries & Creme.

Consistent weekly lift

Visits are staggered so velocity shows up as sustained lift, not a one-day spike.
